Fall

Blouse (Abercrombie and fitch) – Dress (Topshop) – Shoes (Boden)

Apart from spring, Autumn is my favourite season. It means the start of cosiness – woolly jumpers, cute ankle boots and furry scarves! I’m very much looking forward to going away at half term and stocking up clothes for the up coming colder months. My mum was away and my dad at golf when I took these photos, it’s amazing what you can do when you know how to use a tripod and a self-timer!

{My new Polaroid camera – my main Birthday present}

Sorry I haven’t been on in over 2 weeks, I’ve been really busy with school and my birthday was 6 days ago so I’ve been playing with my new Polaroid camera {which I’ll do a post on soon}. Once in a while I take a break from blogging for about 2 weeks then come back into the routine of it after then, normally because I’m busy or haven’t had time to take pictures, but I’m back now and plan do be doing more posts soon!

These are the 3 things that I’m adoring at the moment!

Today is… the end of the First Week at School

It’s now the end of the first week back at school and I must say it was exhausting! My bag was practically bursting at the seams. But the one thing I do love though is taking photography for GCSE! We’re doing portraits and I cant wait to use the ones of Ted shown here! The funny picture of the prairie dog I took this week is keeping me going! I’ll be putting up the second lot of pictures from the wildlife park as well this weekend!

stone age

We have these quirky miniature stone statues outside our house that I love taking pictures of. The flowers and plants around it make a great focal spot for photos! I love making collages of photos and the pictures here work really well together, I’m always pleased when that happens and I love seeing the garden in full bloom!

Floral texture

{flowers caught on camera today}

I was thinking the other day how different flowers can be from each other. Some are really delicate with paper thin leaves and others are big, bold and have bright colours, so I decided to take a few pictures in my garden today and I came across different textures that worked with each other and that’s how I came to writing this post! Flowers are by far the my favourite object to photograph because of so many different species, colour and variety. And if you take the photograph well then it can be magical!
